23 Best Yoga Retreats in India for Health & Rejuvenation

Yoga was invented on the spiritual lands of India. In the ancient times, it was practiced by saints to gain spiritual peace of mind and body. In today’s world, Yoga in India has spread as a fashion word, like on the urban streets of London and Los Angeles. Nevertheless, the art of Yoga and meditation has not lost its sheen.

Earlier, it was practiced in the lap of nature, now you have fancy yoga homes that are artificially designed to offer peace and tranquility. It can be explained in this way that the essence of this body and soul healing process is still the same, rather the execution has changed a bit. Contrary to the old times, the modern day spirituality strives to heal mind, body and spirit in the most comfortable way. 1. Having spent so summer holidays during my childhood in Munger, I was surprised to know that it is also home to one of the best yoga institutes in India. The list is comprehensive and well compiled. There are many on beaches and many on mountains...It's a tough ask to choose one of these for a physically, mentally and spiritually uplifting holiday. However, I'd go for mountain any day :-)

  4. Nice compilation. The photo of the Sivananda Center in Trivandrum is not correct. It is a photo of the museum in Trivandrum. Because of this discrepancy, I am questioning the validity of the rest of the photos and the facts in the rest of compilation. I hope that the rest of the compilation is accurate.
