This is the 3rd time in as many years that India’s most luxurious train Maharajas’ Express has been declared 'World Leading Luxury Train' beating the likes of Venice-Simplon Orient Express of Europe, Rovos Rail of Africa and Rocky Mountaineer of Canada.
Launched in 2010, Maharajas’ Express luxury train service in India comes equipped with state of the art ensuite amenities such as Wi-Fi internet, RFID door locks for enhanced security, LCD TV with live channels, attached bathroom and electronic safe. The train also boasts of 2 dining cars, a bar car, a souvenir shop, observation lounge and gaming lounge.
What sets Maharajas’ Express apart from the rest of the luxury trains in the world
is the Presidential Suite that span across an entire carriage. It is the most spacious of its kind and comes equipped with a twin bed and double bed bedroom, kitchenette, dining space and living area. Presidential suite also features a spacious bathroom equipped with bathtub.
